Product Details
When producing stainless steel products, some products are strange in shape and cannot be produced by processes such as elbows. For the production of such irregular shapes (internal hollow or solid), one uses a wax mold → sand mold → The process of filling the liquid material into a molding process.
Advantages: You can make a variety of products according to different wax patterns.
Disadvantages: The precision of the formed blank is not high and the surface roughness is large.
Second, the precision casting process
1. Make molds according to different shapes of products. The mold is divided into upper and lower concave molds, which are completed by integrated processes such as turning, planing, milling, etching and electric spark. The shape and size of the pit are consistent with the half of the product. Because the wax mold is mainly used for industrial wax pressing type, the aluminum alloy material with low melting point, low hardness, low requirement, cheaper price and light weight is used as the mold.
2. A large number of industrial wax solid core models are produced by using aluminum alloy molds. Under normal circumstances, an industrial wax solid core model can only correspond to one blank product.
3. Refining the margin around the wax mold. After deburring, a plurality of single wax molds are adhered to the pre-prepared die (also known as group tree), which is also an industrial wax produced by wax mold. Core model. (The shape is very similar to a tree)
4. Apply a plurality of wax molds that have been fixed on the die to the industrial glue and spray evenly on the first layer of fine sand (a refractory sand, high temperature resistance, usually using silica sand). This sand particle is small and very thin, which ensures that the surface of the final blank is as smooth as possible.
5. Allow the wax mold sprayed with the first layer of fine sand to dry naturally at the set room temperature (or constant temperature), but it can not affect the shape change of the internal wax pattern. The natural drying time depends on the complexity of the internal part of the product itself. The first air drying time of the casting is about 5-8 hours.
6. After the first sand spray and natural air drying, continue the industrial glue (silicon slurry) on the surface of the wax mold, and spray a second layer of sand. The size of the second layer of sand is larger than the first layer of sand. Come big, come thick. After spraying the second layer of sand, the wax mold is naturally dried at a set constant temperature.
7. After the second sand spray and natural air drying, the third blasting, the fourth blasting, and the fifth blasting are followed by analogy. Requirements: - Adjust the number of blasting according to product surface requirements, volume, and weight. Under normal circumstances, the number of sandblasting is 3-7 times. - The size of the sand for each sandblasting is different. Usually, the sand in the subsequent process is thicker than the sand in the previous process, and the length of the air drying is different. Generally, a complete wax mold sand production cycle is about 3 to 4 days.
8. The wax mold that has completed the sand blasting process is evenly coated with a layer of white industrial latex (silicone slurry) before the baking process to bond and solidify the sand mold, and seal the wax mold function. Prepare the road baking process. At the same time, after the baking process, the brittleness of the sand type can be improved, and the sand layer can be broken and the blank can be taken out.
9. Baking process The wax mold fixed on the die and completed in the sandblasting and air-drying process is placed in a metal-tight special oven (usually a steam furnace for burning kerosene). Because the melting point of industrial wax is not high, the temperature is about 150 ,, and the wax mold is melted by heat to form wax water flowing along the gate. This process is dewaxing. The wax mold that has been waxed off is just an empty sand shell. The key to precision casting is to use this empty sand shell. (Generally, such wax can be used repeatedly, but these waxes must be re-filtered, otherwise the unclean wax will affect the surface quality of the blank, such as: surface sand holes, pitting, and also affect the shrinkage of the cast product).
10. Baking the sand shell In order to make the wax shell which is waxed more firm and stable, the sand shell must be baked before pouring the stainless steel water, usually baked in a high temperature (about 1000 温度) furnace. .
11. Pour the stainless steel water that has been dissolved into liquid in high temperature into the waxed shell. The liquid stainless steel water fills the space of the previous wax molding until it is completely filled, including the middle part of the mold.
12, due to the mixing of stainless steel boilers with different materials, the factory must check the material percentage. Then interpret according to the required ratio, such as adding those aspects to achieve the desired effect.
13. After the liquid stainless steel water is cooled and solidified, the outermost sand shell is broken by mechanical tools or manpower, and the solid stainless steel product is the shape of the original wax mold, that is, the final desired blank. Then cut one by one, separate and then coarsely grind into a single blank
14. Inspection of blanks: blanks with blisters and pores on the surface must be repaired with argon arc, which is seriously re-heated when the waste is cleaned.
15. Cleaning the blank: The blank that has passed the inspection must pass the cleaning process. 16. Perform other process processing until the finished product.
